报告摘要

Retrosynthetic analysis typically relies on the stepwise simplification of complex natural products via systematic bond disconnections. Occasionally, however, a deliberate increase in the molecular complexity of a hypothetical intermediate can paradoxically streamline the overall synthetic route. This counterintuitive strategy can enable more efficient and strategic bond disconnections, ultimately providing rapid access to simple and commercially available starting materials. In this talk, we will present recent examples from our total synthesis efforts that highlight the practical utility of this approach.

报告人简介

祝介平教授1984年本科毕业于杭州师范大学。随后在兰州大学李玉林教授的指导下从事有机合成研究，于1987年获得硕士学位。在法国巴黎第十一大学Husson和Quirion教授的指导下于1991年获得博士学位。接着在德克萨斯农工大学跟随诺奖得主Barton教授从事了近两年的博士后研究。

1992年加入法国国家科学研究院“天然产物化学研究所”；2000年晋升为二级研究主任，2006年晋升为一级研究主任。2010年9月转入瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院 (EPFL) 任教授。

祝老师的研究方向主要包括复杂天然产物的全合成、方法学和不对称催化的开发。在这些研究方向都做出了杰出的工作，特别是吲哚生物碱的高效简洁全合成以及新型重排反应的开发。
